European Union regulators approved on Monday 133 million
euros (101.14 million pound) during aid granted by Hungary to German
manufacturer Audi as a result of it might boost investment in a underprivileged
region within the country.
The Hungarian unit of Audi, that is German manufacturer
Volkswagen's (VOWG_p.DE) flagship luxury division, is predicted to form two,100
jobs at the one.2-billion-euro plant in Western Transdanubia.
The European Commission aforementioned the Hungarian funding
complied with the bloc's state aid rules.
"The Commission's assessment showed that the help was
necessary for the project to travel ahead in Győr, because the aid just
stipendiary the corporate for further investment prices incurred by winding up
the project in Győr and not in another location," the EU government
aforementioned during a statement.
