UK's Investment Association says total funds hit record in 2015



Britain's Investment Association same on weekday that total funds below management rose four p.c to a record 871 billion pounds ($1.24 trillion) in 2015, driven by a rise in sales to retail investors.

The Investment Association is that the trade body that represents United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland investment managers.

Equity was the popular plus category for the second consecutive year with web retail sales of eight.4 billion pounds, whereas United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Equity financial gain was the popular of the IA's sector funds, with web retail sales of four.3 billion pounds.

Sales of huntsman funds, meanwhile, hit a record five.4 billion pounds to require total funds below management to associate incomparable  high of 108 billion pounds, it said.

"After a slow begin, web retail sales bounced back within the final 3 quarters of the year with investors favouring equity merchandise, significantly European funds and people with associate financial gain focus," same American state Interim Chief government Guy Sears.
